Spending hours on a university campus cooking in your free time and study time is definitely not the recommended method to be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. This however is her story.


It is never too late to be what you might have been- George Elliot.


As a student of physiotherapy one can imagine how strange and confusing it was for her to sit through lectures day dreaming about cooking. It is now that she can make sense of it all. Apparently her mind chose culinary arts to alleviate itself from stress. Physiotherapy was just not working out.


In a drastic turn of events she transitioned into Culinary School a few months later. In the end she was awarded for the most outstanding academic achievements. Her five plus year tenure as a head chef at a private hospital in Montego Bay,Jamaica encouraged the use of her medical science knowledge and sharpened her ability to serve clients with various dietary requirements. During that time period she was recognized by the Honourable Edmund Bartlett-Jamaican Minister of Tourism-for being accredited by the American Culinary Federation.


After travelling and garnering some international experience she is now merging her knack for servicing various dietary requirements with her Jamaican heritage, to give you the Plant Forward Vacation Chef. The goal of plant forward meals is not to exclude food groups but to be mindful of adding more plants to every plate.
